BlossomSMP Rules

Please read the rules in their entirety to avoid potential punishments - we've kept it short and sweet to make it easy to read and understand.

Punishments for each category and offence will vary. Punishments may be extended in some situations.

Notice: The rules stated are flexible and up to staff descretion - if you feel you've been punished unfairly, please create a ticket in our discord server. Thank you for undertanding.

Chat Rules

Restricted Behaviour

The following are forbidden under this category:

• Chat Flooding: Sending several messages in a short period
• Inappropriate Topics: Drugs, self-harm, illegal activities, etc.
• Spamming: Repeating the same message, random characters, etc.
• Targetting Swearing: Swearing at players
• Staff Impersonation: Pretending to be a staff member
• Other Server Names: Mentioning or conversating about other servers
• Punishment Discussion: Mentioning or discussing active/previous BlossomSMP punishments

Unacceptable Behaviour

The following are forbidden under this category:

• No Slurs: Use of slurs or derogatory terms based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.
• Harassment: Any form of harassment or bullying
• Malicious Links: Any links that are malicious or inappropriate
• Threats: Any threats or revealing information about other players

No Intent To Play

The following are forbidden under this category:

• Severe Discrimination: Use of certain slurs, phrases or offensive slogans
• Other Server Advertisement: Posting of other server IP addresses
• Obvious Trolling: Clearly being unproductive and just causing trouble

Incorrect Language

The following are forbidden under this category:

• English Only: Only English in global chat (for moderation)

Server Rules

Restricted Behaviour

The following are forbidden under this category:

• Insiding: Joining players claims with the intent to steal or cause harm
• Inappropriate Username: Any offensive or provocative usernames
• Inappropriate Skins: Any offensive or provocative skins
• Inappropriate Builds: Construction of symbols or structures that are offensive or resemble hate symbols
• Trapping: Building or using traps to hold players against their will
• Alternative Accounts: Each player is allowed 2 additional accounts, please notify staff in advance if this limit will be exceeded by family, friends or otherwise
• Eyesores: Building lava casts, cobble monsters, mass fires, craters, or mass destruction in claimable worlds
• Out Of Server Trading: Trading in-server items or currency for out of server rewards - this does not include gifting items from our store for in-game items or currency

Unacceptable Behaviour

The following are forbidden under this category:

• Unfair Advantages: Any use of clients to give a gameplay advantage that you would not have without it (View allowed modifications at the bottom)
• Scamming: Not following through with a deal, paying, or being deceptive about offerings
• Griefing: Causing damage to or nearby a claimed area
• Exploitation: Bugs you find should be reported and not used for personal gain
• Evasion: Attempting to bypass any punishment (talking on another account whilst muted on main, etc.)

No Intent To Play

The following are forbidden under this category:

• Server Tampering: Attempting to cause lag, crashes or damage to the server
• Obvious Trolling: Clearly being unproductive and just causing trouble

• Aesthetic Enhancements: Shaders, Resource Packs, VanillaTweaks, etc.
• Keybind Macros: Welcome messages, common help responses, advertisements, etc.
• Performance Optimization Mods: Sodium, OptiFine, Entity Culling
• Chat Customization Mods: Chat Heads, AdvancedChat
• HUD Improvements: MiniHud, InventoryHud+
• Light Quality-of-Life Enhancements: Toggle Sprint, Better PvP, etc.
• Freecam & Replay Mod
• Crafting Assistance Mods: Better Recipe Book, Item Scroller

Please ensure all mods comply with fair play guidelines and do not provide an unfair advantage. Mods listed are examples and do not cover every possible mod. If you are unsure if a mod is allowed, ask!
